Puttu and kadala curry

Puttu and kadala curry (Steamed rice flour and black chana curry )

Kadala Curry Recipe
Kadala (Black Chana) - 1 cup
Thick cocnut milk - 1/2 cup
Corriander powder -1 1/2 teaspoon
Chilly powder -3/4 teaspoon
Meat masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Onion -1/2
Chopped ginger - 1/2 spoon

Soak the black chana in water for 8 hrs.Cook the chana with little salt and water.Soak the masala in a little water for five minutes.Heat oil in a pan.Add the chopped onions and ginger and saute.When it is done add the soaked masala and stir for two minutes.Then add the cooked chana .Now add the thick coconut milk and stir for two minutes and remove from flame .Now it is ready to serve.
