Lime and mint soother.

Lime - 1/2
Mint leaves -7
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Sugar  - 4 spoons or as per requirement
Water - 2 glasses

Take 2 glasses of cold water in a vessel and add lime and sugar to it.Grind the mint leaves and ginger with little water in a mixer.Now mix it with the cold water and stir well.Strain it and serve .

Kadala masala curry

Kadala ( Black Chana) - 200gm
Onions                         - 2
Coconut cut to small pieces - 1/4 cup
Chilly powder               - 1 spoon
Corriander powder      - 11/2 spoon
Meat masala                - 1 spoon
Turmeric powder         - a pinch
Curry leaves.
Salt as per taste.

Soak the channa in water for 6 hours.Cook the channa in a pressure cooker with little salt.Saok the powders in little water and keep for some time.Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and curry leaves.When it is done add the coconut pieces and saute for some time.Now add the powders soaked in water and saute.When it is done add the channa and saute for some time.When the water is dried remove from fire and serve.Goes well with Kanji.

Chana masala. (Chickpea masala.)



Chana Masala Recipe.

Chana - 1 cup
Pav Bhaji Masala - 1 spoon
Corriander Powder - 3/4 spoon
Chilly powder - 1/2 spoon
Ripe tomato -1
Corriander leaves - 2 spoons
Onion - 1
Garlic - 2
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Salt

Soak the chana in water for eight hours. Cook the chana with the garlic ,ginger and salt. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions .When it is done add the tomatoes and saute.Now add the chilly powder ,corriander powder and pavbhaji masala and saute.When it is done add the cooked chana and let it cook for five minutes.Now add the corriander leaves and cook for two minutes and remove from fire and serve.
