Vermicelli Upma

Roasted Vermicelli - 2 cups
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Green chilly- 2
Curry leaves
Corriander leaves - 1 spoon
Garam masala powder - 1/4 spoon
Grated carrots -2
Onion - 1 chopped
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Cummin seeds - 1 spoon
Salt - as per taste

Cook vermicelli and grated carrot with 4 cups of water and salt (add 1 teaspoon oil while cooking).In another pan heat oil and add the cummin seeds,onion ,ginger,curry leaves and saute.When it is done add garam masala and saute.Now add the cooked vermicelli and carrots and saute.Now add the grated coconut and saute .Let it cook for five minutes.Garnish with corriander leaves and serve.
